Two people, one shared passion

Cole & Ruby Melbourne was founded by Cole and Ruby — two people who met through a shared love of fashion and never looked back. Between them, they bring over a decade of experience in the industry: styling, sourcing fabrics, understanding what makes a woman feel confident in what she wears.

Why we started Cole & Ruby

After years of working within the fashion industry, Cole and Ruby kept noticing the same thing: beautifully made pieces were either impossible to find, or came with a price tag that didn't make sense. They wanted to change that — starting with one dress, done properly.

That's how the Sophie dress, and Cole & Ruby Melbourne, came to be.

Inspired by Melbourne

There's a certain ease to the way Melbourne moves — relaxed, a little unexpected, always elegant without trying too hard. That's the feeling we design around. Soft watercolour prints, flattering cuts, fabric that moves the way you do.
